So, I set all my PC audio to go through the Akai, rather than the default sound device, set the fader halfway, and boom. It has a mixer that allows you to fade between input and raw output audio. I know how to do this, however, I'd really like to avoid it, because we will be using headphones for monitoring our voice audio, twitch alerts, and the game, itself, so we avoid any game noise being picked up by my LDC. My other options are to add a 1400ms (or so) delay to my audio within OBS, and do the same to my webcam. (Confirmation BADLY needed), though his logic was that this reduces postprocessing within the device. ![]() I watched a short YouTube vid claiming that changing console output settings to 1080i would get rid of the lag. If at all possible, I would like to eliminate, or almost eliminate lag entirely. ![]() I'm very familiar with OBS, so no need to break things down too much, and I haven't actually tested anything yet, but I got to thinking about the EHD's potential lag from USB 2.0, and have been Googling, ever since.Īlso, be aware, that I am using webcam, an audio interface, and several advanced OBS plugins, as well. I've got a few questions about using the Elgato HD with OBS, particularly, about lag, and how to reduce it/ the best way to cope. ![]()
